stuff and cross e. V. was founded in April 2015 and currently consists of around 35 members (mostly students from the Freiburg University of Music). The cultural association would like to create connections, especially of an interdisciplinary, intercultural and cross-generational nature. According to the statutes, bridges should also be built between art and its mediation, tradition and the present, demand and pleasure, the professional and amateur music business.

With this motivation, the grassroots democratically organized association is interested in, among other things

• innovative concert formats (location and program selection)

• experimental music theater concepts

• cultural education

• the possibility of cultural participation for refugees

• the mediation of music from the now.
